International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Turkey Chapter and Turkish Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB) host event on digital economies and government role, which will be held in Istanbul on March 27, with the participation of Balcıoğlu Selçuk Akman Keki Attorney Partnership (BASEAK) partner Şahin Ardıyok, BASEAK off-counsel Emin Köksal and Dentons Germany partner René Grafunder.

As for any country, digitalisation and digital economies are of great importance for Turkey. Another significant aspect to consider is the government role during the digital age, which is excelling on innovation. To address such aspects, ICC and TOBB are jointly hosting a conference named “Opportunities for Turkey in the Digital Age: Public Policy, Innovation and Growth”.

The Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, the chairman of TOBB Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu and the chairman of Turkish Competition Authority Ömer Torlak will give opening speeches, while BASEAK partner Şahin Ardıyok, BASEAK off-counsel Emin Köksal and Dentons Berlin partner René Grafunder will discuss the competition policy in digital age, with the participation of many private and public sector representatives.
