Balcıoğlu Selçuk Akman Keki Attorney Partnership (BASEAK) and Dentons advised Czech-based hydroelectricity group ENERGO-PRO on securing €175 million in financing for the development, construction and operation of the Alpaslan 2 dam and hydro power plant in Muş, Turkey.

ENERGO-PRO operates hydropower plants in Central and Eastern Europe, the Black Sea and Caucasus. Its Alpaslan 2 project is located on the Murat river in Muş province, Turkey, and has a generation capacity of 280 MW.

BASEAK Counsels Ceren Su and Yasemin Saris and associates Fulya Görer, Canberk Varis and Sena Mutlu led on Turkish law matters while for the English law matters, Istanbul-based Dentons partner Tamsyn Mileham led the team working on the transaction, with support from Jiří Tomola and Tomáš Osička as well as Energy partner Petr Zákoucký in Dentons Prague and Infrastructure partner Ian McGrath in Istanbul. The team also included lawyers from Dentons Prague, associates Martin Munduľák and Martin Fiala.
