On May 8, 2025, Partner Şahin Ardıyok and Associates Armanç Canbeyli and Furkan Kaya delivered a presentation titled “Determining the Appropriate Boundaries of Undertakings’ Liability for Employees’ Actions Under Competition Law: A Legal and Economic Perspective” as part of Istanbul Bilgi University’s Competition Law and Policy Center seminar series.

Their talk examined the extent to which undertakings may be held liable for competition law infringements arising from the conduct of individual employees. The presentation also explored the legal and economic significance of compliance programs, highlighting key concepts such as decisive influence, culpa in eligendo, culpa in vigilando, and corporate responsibility.
