BASEAK and Dentons London teams led by partners Şahin Ardıyok and Doğan Eymirlioğlu and Dentons partner Ian McGrath have successfully assisted the leading Turkish healthcare technologies and services company on the negotiation and consummation of clinical support services and interface agreements. The team also advised on various ancillary documents surrounding Bilkent Integrated Health Campus and Mersin Integrated Health Campus projects, where the client will be acting as the main subcontractor for the clinical support services.

Bilkent Integrated Health Campus is the largest healthcare PPP project launched by the Turkish Ministry of Health, having a total project value of €1.3 billion, more than 3,600 beds, more than 100 operating rooms and a total surface of 1.1 million square meters. Located seven kilometers south of the city of Ankara, the 3,662-bed health campus will provide access to a full range of specialist facilities, hosting 1,350 doctors; 2,750 nurses; 2,580 assistant personnel; and approximately 20,000 citizens daily, alongside a hotel, congress center, shopping mall, fitness hall and recreation areas. The health campus consists of a core diagnostic center, six towers that house different medical services, a rehabilitation hospital, a psychiatric hospital and a clinic hotel.

Mersin Integrated Health Campus is also a large healthcare PPP project of the Ministry of Health; with a total project value of €363 million, over 1250 beds and a total surface of more than 328,000 square meters. The health campus consists of a core diagnostic center, a coronary diseases hospital, an oncology hospital, a psychiatric hospital and a pediatric hospital.
