BASEAK team, led by Partner Doğan Eymirlioğlu, successfully advised Plastiques du Val de Loire SA (Plastivaloire) on the acquisition of Bursa-based Turkish plastics company Otosima Plastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. via its German subsidiary, BAP GmbH. The acquisition enables Plastivaloire Group to strengthen its position amongst its major historical clients as well as win over new market share from high-potential car manufacturers present in Turkey.

A French company Plastivaloire specializes in the manufacture of complex plastic parts.  The company’s portfolio of products includes vehicle interiors, front-end modules, under-bonnet parts, lighting and signaling, ovens, remote controls and household electrical switchers. It is operational through several subsidiaries, including but not limited to, Creutzwald Injection SAS, Cardonaplast, Tunisie Plastiques Systemes, Elbromplast, Karl Hess, Duna Injection Real Estate, Automotive Plastics Rochefort, as well as Banque Populaire du Val de France.

Otosima Plastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., has established itself as one of the main suppliers for the region’s car and automotive parts manufacturers, specializing in the manufacture of high-end painted plastic parts for the motor vehicle industry. The company generated a turnover of approximately €10 million in 2014.
