The annual forum successfully connected public officials, participation banks, asset management companies and legal firms from across the Middle East and South Asia regions.

This year the IFN Forum hosted well experienced speakers and panelists who shed light on a variety of key points regarding sukuk issuances throughout the region and discussed the issues in sukuk issuances in Turkey. Some of the most important topics discussed at the Forum were: participation banking and finance in Turkey, the evolution of Turkish collective investment schemes and the opportunities for shariah compliant investment options, funding infrastructure requirements in Turkey and financial technology.

BASEAK Partner Müfit Arapoğlu attended the IFN dialogue session to discuss the problems and opportunities in the market with selected market participants while Dentons partner Alex Roussos participated in the “Race for Sukuk Issuances in Turkey” discussion.
