BASEAK advised 11 individual shareholders of Batıcim Batı Anadolu Çimento Sanayii Anonim Şirketi (“Baticim”) for the sale of their approximately 30% stake in Baticim, a public company established and operating in the Turkish cement industry for more than a half-century to Çiftay İnşaat Taahhüt ve Ticaret A.Ş (“Çiftay”). Batıcim is one of the long-established and well-known market players in the Turkish economy and has subsidiaries active in the energy and port industries. Çiftay is a private company established and operating in Turkey by the Aydın family, active in the construction and mining sectors.

Partners Galip Murat Selçuk and Müfit Arapoğlu led the transaction with associates Mert Büberoğlu, Erkin Tuzcular, Ege Alpaykut and Simge Yılmaz.
