We are witnessing that machine learning, artificial intelligence and robot technology affect and transform many areas oriented to human needs. The change became inevitable for even traditional practice areas such as law. While legal processes gain practicality by being influenced by technology, law takes place as both an adapter and regulatory of the technology. 

To enhance solutions to the problems in practice, Turkcell organizes Lexathon between 15-28 December 2021, where law and engineering students interested in legal technologies will compete and improve themselves with the help of mentors. We are pleased to announce that BASEAK supports Lexathon in many aspects! BASEAK Partner Bora İkiler will participate in the panel that will be held on 23 December 2021 to evaluate the perspectives of law firms on legal technologies. BASEAK Senior Consultant, Burak Aytekin will provide support as a mentor to the students.

Our partner Bora İkiler will also take part in the Preliminary Evaluation Committee, which will determine the five projects that will make it to the final stage of the competition. Finally, we will provide summer internship opportunities to the students being successful in the competition.
