Balcıoğlu Selçuk Akman Keki has successfully assisted the negotiation and signing of the Sale and Purchase Agreement related to a Fortune100 company's acquisition of the fats and oils production assets of Turyağ Gıda.

Turyağ is a prominent Turkish food manufacturer, focusing on liquid oil, margarines, industrial oils and pastry oils, including popular margarine brands. This acquisition will allow the Company to grow its food ingredient activities in Turkey and to expand its portfolio with oils and fats to better serve its customers in Turkey and beyond. The acquisition will include integrated crush and refinery assets, sales and manufacturing organizations, related B2B brands, intellectual property and know-how, and more than 190 people currently employed by Turyağ. Transfer of assets and payment of the purchase price will be completed on the closing date which will take place after obtaining the regulatory approvals.
